Pre-season opening tournament

...it's Bobviously the most Bobnoxious blog full of Bobscure (but not Bobscene) photos complimented by Bobtuse, Bobsessive, and Bobsolete rantings. A literal and visual Bobservatory into the Bobstinate world of Bob.

I couldn't resist...saw it on YouTube...a mash-up between 2 classic songs. "I'm A Believer" by the Monkees and "Paperback Writer" by the Beatles. Enjoy.

Mel took this "action" photo of Trish, Amy, and me playing a pretty aggressive game of badminton at our 6-year high school reunion (our class officers weren't able to get the 5-year reunion together in time). I took the birdie and stuck it into my racket and we posed for this shot. I can't believe that it's nearly been 15 years since we did this! My how the years go by. Thankfully our true friends have stuck close by all this time. It's been a blast playin' with you guys! Now look out cuz I'm going for the smash!

March Madness is among us again and once again, UC is not in the Tourney... All the same, I will still follow it. Here are my initial Bobservations on the brackets:

John built a cool tunnel/igloo out of all the snow we shovelled off the
driveway. Here's how it progressed:

The early March winds were up a few days ago so we got the kids a couple of kites and Melinda took them to the park and told the kids to go fly a kite. A wonderful Spring-like day but that soon faded and now I'm typing this with flurries on the deck and temps dipping into the teens tonight. Hurry up Spring, eh!

A few more photos taken during the ice storm and snowfall last week. Soon, all this will be a faded memory as Spring is just around the corner! For me, there's nothing more beautiful or refreshing than a freshly-fallen snow or a tree that is covered in ice appearing to be made of crystal. Of course I don't have a very long commute to work either...that would no doubt alter my positive opinion of such weather!
